We are proud to recognize Miles Foster-Larner as our outstanding July Rey Azteca Student of the Month! A rising Senior at Penncrest High School, Miles is deeply involved in both academics and extracurricular activities, while already demonstrating impressive leadership skills and a strong passion for public service.
At Penncrest, Miles is an active member of the Concert Band, where he also serves as one of the group’s two student representatives. In addition, he participates in both the Penncrest Marching Band and Jazz Band, showcasing his dedication to music and school involvement. Beyond the arts, Miles also serves as one of three student liaisons to the Rose Tree Media School District Board of School Directors.
Outside of school, Miles has developed a unique and impressive hobby: writing and editing Wikipedia articles, particularly those focused on elections and referendums. To date, he has written approximately 40 articles and made nearly 1,400 edits on the site.
That passion for politics extends well beyond a hobby. Miles plans to major in political science in college before attending law school. Looking toward the future, he hopes to one day run for a seat in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. After spending time getting to know Miles and hearing about his goals and ambitions, we have a feeling his future in leadership may reach even to a run for President.
Congratulations, Miles, on this well-deserved recognition. Your dedication, intelligence and drive are truly inspiring, and we look forward to seeing all that you accomplish in the years ahead.
