The October Rey Azteca Student of the Month is Viktor Ford, a distinguished Senior at Penncrest High School. Viktor has been honored with a Certificate of Achievement and a Gift Card from Rey Azteca, the Sponsor of this program, in recognition of his exceptional commitment to both his community and personal growth.
At Penncrest, Viktor is actively involved in athletics, proudly representing the school as a member of both the Varsity basketball and Varsity lacrosse teams. His passion for health and fitness is evident in his dedication to working out at the gym, not only to maintain his health but also to enhance his performance in sports.
Beyond his school activities, Viktor also balances his academic and athletic commitments with a part-time job as a cook at Santucci’s Pizza in Media. Despite his busy schedule, he has ambitious plans for the future, including the aspiration to own his own business someday.
Looking ahead, Viktor envisions attending a large college that offers a vibrant sports scene and a rich campus life. He aims to study business and entrepreneurship, hoping to leverage his education to achieve his long-term goals. Each summer, Viktor also dedicates time to serving as a camp counselor at Neringa, a Lithuanian camp in southern Vermont, where he helps teach children about their Lithuanian heritage and culture. Viktor’s diverse activities and dedication make him a well-rounded and exemplary student.

Here’s what we look for – Students from grades 7 to 12 who demonstrate excellence in service to school, friendship, community or area groups, and reside within the geographical borders of the Marple, Newtown Square or Edgmont (no matter what school they attend, or if they are homeschooled).
