Shredding Hunger on September 24th (see calendar on page X) offers the community an opportunity to shred important documents for free while also giving back and raising awareness of hunger in this area.
Event hosts Allstate – Mallon Insurance Group, Toscana Gourmet Pizza, O’Hara and Fiorenza’s Food for Friends (F4) ask that attendees donate a non-perishable food item or items.
The food collected will be distributed to CityTeam Chester and St. Mark’s Food Pantry in Broomall. The past two events have collected close to 5,000 pounds of food.
