Riddle Village is a Continuing Care Retirement Community located in Media, Pennsylvania that offers three levels of living options for residents: Independent Living, Personal Care and Skilled Nursing. As a Lifecare community, all levels of care are available right on campus, which means residents never have to worry about what would happen if their needs change down the road.
Independent Living is ideal for those who seek to enjoy an active, comfortable lifestyle with the freedom to live every day as they choose throughout our community and in our spacious apartments. We offer 10 apartment models ranging from junior one-bedroom apartments to three-bedroom apartments. Personal Care is the perfect setting for those who need assistance with activities of daily living, provided in a caring and engaging environment. Skilled Nursing is our highest level of care for those with more complex health needs who require round-the-clock care and medical supervision provided by our specially trained medical staff. Additionally, respite care is available in Personal Care and Skilled Nursing. This type of temporary stay is for individuals who may be preparing for a return home after a hospital or rehab admission, or it can be used simply to provide well-deserved relief for caregivers who regularly care for older loved ones. Residents also have access to onsite out-patient therapy and in-patient therapies including physical, occupational, and speech.
Our residents have services available from each of our departments that are designed to simplify their lives. Maintenance can handle any necessary repairs or work inside or outside of the apartment, and weekly housekeeping means residents don’t have to worry about any upkeep. For dining, residents can choose from any of our four restaurants, ranging from a newly renovated pub-style lounge with full-service bar to a quick and convenient café. Also included in the monthly fee is reserved parking, snow, and trash removal, and 24-hour security. With scheduled transportation and a full activity calendar, our residents never have a problem finding something enjoyable to do.
Riddle Village is filled with opportunities to socialize and learn thanks to our high-end amenities and programs. The state-of-the-art fitness center, exercise classes, and indoor heated pool are great ways to stay active. Outside in the courtyard, residents enjoy pickup games, organized tournaments, or even just practicing on the putting green or bocce ball court. Inside, the game room, library, and Towne Hall are all guaranteed to provide entertainment.
